My name is Aleksandra Cieslikowska and I feel honored to be your child’s new English Teacher. I was born in South Africa and graduated from Damelin College with the focus on Sound Engineering. I have always been fascinated with the Asian culture, and when I got the opportunity to come to Taiwan, I was thrilled. I have been living in Taiwan since 2007, and have loved every minute of it. I have taught students from the age of 2 years old and, up to 21 years old. I have taught everything from grammar, writing, reading, conversational skills, and preparation for the IELTS / TEFL exams. And knowing how the students think, and what their real needs are will not only benefit the teacher in having a smoother class but most importantly it will leave your child feeling excited and wanting to know more about the English language and the culture. I look forward to embarking on this exciting journey with your child!

My name is Allison Page and I am happy to be joining the teaching team at Columbia. I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) where I studied Studio Art with an emphasis in painting in the College of Creative Studies. In 2014 I landed in Chiayi City where I taught English for the last year and first fell in love with Taiwan. I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of students with levels varying from beginning English to GEPT. With each student comes the challenge of first identifying their goals for English and how best to achieve them, a challenge I enjoy taking on. I believe that every student learns in a way that is unique to them and that, as humans, we learn better when we are engaged and interested. I look forward to helping to lead your child on their English journey!
