當初很多人勸我們不要投入已經飽和的兒童英語補教市場。然而，在親自市場調查後，我們發現，雖然在台北市標榜教兒童英文的補習班、安親班、才藝班和幼稚園不下千家；但幾乎沒有一家能夠符合我們心目中對優質英語學習環境的期待。這讓當時的我們感到相當扼腕，因為不但浪費了家長的學費、孩子的時間，更錯失了培養孩子學習英文興趣的最佳時機。於是我們決定辦一個「能夠全面提升兒童英語補教業」的英語補習班。
